This art print features one of prettiest Alfas of all time – the Giulia TZ2. This car was the first made by Autodelta after its acquisition from Alfa Romeo as factory racing team. The body was designed by Ercole Spada and was built of reinforced plastic by Zagato. They made it 100 kgs lighter in comparison with the original TZ. The TZ2 was much lower and suitable for endurance racing where this Alfa was extremely successful in its class despite the short career. The engine displacement is 1570 cc, enough for production of 170 hp propelling the car up to speeds of 245 kmh equal to 160 mph. This particular car with racing number 38 is chassis number 116 and was purchased by Belgian count Rudy van der Straten for his team VDS. It had successful racing career in the hands of Teddy Pilette and Serge Trosch who won the class victory at 1967 Nurburgring 1000 km and Reims 1000 km. This Tubolare Zagato also won the beauty queen contest at 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d`Elegance and took home the Gran Turismo Trophy. Now you can have this marvelous Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 as a poster art print tastefully created by Sebastiano Ciarca.
