This art print shows one of the most beloved cars among the motoring enthusiasts of the 60`s – Alfa Romeo GT Junior. It was compact, light and great handling vehicle on a relatively good price. GT Junior is part of the 105/115 series of Alfa Romeo coupes. It was designed by a young, gifted and ambitious designer at the great design studio Bertone. This was the first major project for the promising Giorgetto Giugiaro who later will be named “The car designer of the XX century”. After the premiere in 1963, the design of Alfa Romeo GT coupes was applauded because of the balance between glass and metal. Giugiaro added flat grille with incorporated headlamps to get entirely new styling features for that era. Scalino or Step-nose Series 1 and 2 versions are competition legends in their GTA /lightened/ form with numerous track wins and Gran Turismo championships. One of their incarnations was the compact and accessible Alfa Romeo GT Junior which was delivered right from the factory with lots of tuning potential. That’s why today is really hard to find GT Junior coupe in stock condition. Easy, the Alfa on this poster art print isn’t stock as well. But it doesn’t make it less valuable. Just enjoy this Italian beauty in motion, created by Sebastiano Giarca.
