If there is a truly desired car art ideal, then this is it. The Ferrari 250 GTO is a class of art by itself. There is no wonder so many automotive artists are inspired by its captivating shapes, story and rarity. This Ferrari 250 GTO art is a brand new addition in our 250 GTO art collection.

"Highest levels of performance and styling." This is how the manufacturer from Maranello exhibits the 250 GTO in its history books. The car was originally created by a small team led by Giotto Bizzarrini. Surprisingly both he and his crew were immediately discharged by Enzo Ferrari the day they presented the vehicle.

A significant part of the 250 GTO legend consists of its successful competition career. In 1962 it was the only one single-seater with an engine in the front.  By that time most of Scuderia's competitors used vehicles with mid-engine configuration. They are one of the last dual purpose cars made - for road and track. Just 36 250 GTOs were produced. The 3-litre V12 Colombo engine was fed by six, twin chokes Weber carburetors, good enough for 300 hp. The last three cars received bodies designed by Pininfarina.

Bring some "Rosso" in your life with this Ferrari 250 GTO art.

Today, the Ferrari 250 GTO is undoubtedly rated as the most expensive car ever. It holds the current record at $70M.
