W196 Streamliner debuted in Reims GP with sleek and aerodynamic body that was extremely effective on a fast tracks. Juan Manuel Fangio and Karl Kling scored double victory at the season opening competition. The Argentinian legend won the championship titles in 1954 and 1955.
