When Alain Prost took his first lap in the revolutionary McLaren MP4/4, he boldly declared that this car would seize the World Championship. Prost, not only an exceptional F1 pilot but also a visionary, proved his prediction right.

The visionary concept of Gordon Murray, the car's mastermind, was to design a car with the lowest possible profile. He meticulously reduced the frontal area, allowing an increased flow of air over the rear wing, thereby enhancing downforce. This engineering marvel not only made the car lightning-fast on straightaways but also left its cornering capabilities unaffected. It's a testament to pure engineering genius.
