This is another piece of the Urban Insects exhibition by the young and promising photographer Yasena Popova. The artist gets inspiration by standard urban vehicles of all sizes and types viewed from bellow. This time she dissects the hidden nature of the Peugeot Bipper compact van and thus creates a piece of classy Peugeot art.

A different type of Peugeot art

Peugeot Bipper is a pretty interesting car itself. It is a subcompact panel van and a traditional urban carrier that helps merchants do their job on the busy streets of the city. Small, affordable and simple, Bipper is the product of a joint venture between Peugeot-Citroen and FIAT. It shares its platform, engine, and design with the Citroen Nemo and Fiat Fiorino. They are all manufactured at FIAT`s factory in Turkey.

The car gets power by a small, 1.3-litre diesel engine capable of just 74 hp. But that seems to be pretty enough in the stop-and-go traffic. Bipper offers 2.5 cubic meters of cargo space, expanding to 2.8 with the optional fold-flat passenger seat. The Bippo has an All Grip Control system. It functions as an electronically aided differential and helps the car get traction on slippery surfaces. It is not an off-road makeover even though it is a helpful addition.
