Citroen DS 19 poster print
This art print shows the Citroen DS, the only car designed by a sculptor (Flaminio Bertoni, not to be confused with Nuccio Bertone) and an aeronautical engineer (Andre Lefebvre). The DS was outstanding then and still is now in a way that no other vehicle has achieved it ever since. It was named the most beautiful car of all time by a poll of 20 of automotive design legends, including Giorgetto Giugiaro, Ian Callum, Paul Bracq, Leonardo Fioravanti, etc. Its design and engineering capabilities were so inspiring that philosopher Roland Barthes wrote an essay dedicated to the DS. Care
Print comes rolled in a cardboard tube with caps on each side. We leave up to 2 inches depending on the size to each side to allow for future framing and matting, if desired or help your artwork “breath” and “glance”. Hang or store ideally at a relative humidity of 35 to 65, between 10 and 30” C (50 - 86F). We guarantee a gallery quality print which will not fade, or yellow even facing direct sunlight and will remain light resistant for up to a century.
