Porsche 917 LH is a record-holder with no trophy at 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car breaks all speed records with measured top speed of 396,004 km/h. Jackie Oliver achieves it during a night ride at Le Mans in 1971.

Even though Porsche 917 LH (langheck, German for ‘’long tail’’) is fast as hell, it isn't so successful in season `71. Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep take the cup this year with their short-tailed Porsche 917 with magnesium chassis.
