This art print shows the Le Mans winner in season 1955 Jaguar D-Type driven by Mike Hawthorn and Ivor Bueb. The beginning of the racing is still remembered with the 3 hours battle between Hawthorn and Juan Manuel Fangio where the D-Type set lap record. This racing Jaguar is one of the true blue bloods of endurance. The D-Type was engineered and built like a plane with aerodynamics as a top priority. The result was small and fast car that brakes and corneres like nothing else. It was so good that D-Type won Le Mans the next couple of years and in season 1957 it took 5 of the top 6 places. They are extremely rare with just 87 produced which fuels collectors to invest amounts north of 4 million US Dollars. Now you can own the 1955 Le Mans winner Jaguar D-Type No. 6 as beautiful art print created by Nicolas Cancelier.
