Pete Dials
Peter Dials is a full-time Graphic Designer and part-time artist with degrees in Fine Art and Graphic Design. Peter's passion for the automobile stretches back to his childhood, with his first word being "car." As a child, he was always drawing cars but as he got older his art interests entered the fine arts and abstract painting. However, his passion for automobiles and racing never left. He was fortunate enough to grow up near the iconic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course where he was able to get up-close and personal with race cars that fueled his passion. He now spends his time at Mid-Ohio tracking his own car when the opportunity arises.
Peter has now returned to "drawing" cars stemming from his passion in racing and his interest in the graphic design of racing liveries. His focus has been on creating illustrations of iconic liveries and the cars they were applied to. Peter focuses on the shape, lines, colors, and shadows to create a clean and simplistic but eye-catching illustration. Peter also creates detailed illustrations of whatever car inspires him at the time.
