What makes Ferrari 250 GTO so unique? Is it its looks or its rarity? Or maybe it is the racing pedigree and the mechanics of the car? Whatever it is, this vehicle is much more than the plain sum of its parts.

The Ferrari 250 GTO is a hell of a mystic machine. The Italians manufacture only a few of them and even fewer survive. The artistic approach of Jochen Paesen makes this Ferrari 250 GTO print in Rosso Corsa an impeccable wall art decoration for any petrol head.

This Ferrari 250 GTO art plays with all of our emotions

This Ferrari art is about a racing machine which turns out to be not only an investment asset but also a subject of worship. It is created in minimal numbers, only 39 vehicles! Its main purpose is GT racing and, specifically, beating the Shelby Cobra and the Jaguar E-Type.

Ferrari 250 GTO is a project with too many fathers. Giotto Bizzarrini is the one in charge of the design but when Enzo Ferrari fires him, Mauro Forghieri takes over. The Italian engineer works along with Sergio Scaglietti on the development of the body of the car.

From a technical point of view, the 250 GTO isn't very advanced. Its chassis is largely built on that of the Ferrari 250 GT SWB. The engine has already proved itself in the Le Mans-winning Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa. Thanks to the efforts of Scaglietti the aerodynamics is what takes 250 GTO truly ahead.

Today, Ferrari 250 GTO is a symbol of money and status. Only 33 cars exist today, and they are among the most expensive cars in the world with the record-breaking $52 M price tag in the 2013 auction. This car is the Mona Lisa of all vehicles. Ralph Lauren and Nick Mason, the Pink Floyd drummer, own it.

Red looks good on any wall, especially when it is the famous Ferrari Rosso Corsa. Indulge yourself with this Ferrari 250 GTO art
